OUR STORY

Welcome to our second annual Taste Night at the museum! Our event is hosted by the Camrose Kinettes in support of the Camrose Museum Society. The museum society’s focus is fundraising to help support the care and stewardship of the Camrose and District Centennial Museum’s collection.

The Bailey Theatre has kindly helped us to sell our event tickets through them and will be hosting a 50/50 draw the night of the event. Bring cash to participate as there is no ATM on site!

Join us August 24 at the Camrose and District Centennial Museum for a night of local spirit sampling.

Your Night at the Museum

Check in at the museum’s main building to receive your wristband and tasting glass. Then take look at our site map and plan your tasting journey. Each museum building will have at least one liquor vendor with exciting tastes of their products for you to try along with water and a wash basin to rinse your glass after each sample. During your evening, wander to the Bailey Theatre’s 50/50 tent in the courtyard and participate to support another local historic site!

After a few samples you may feel yourself getting peckish! If that is the case visit our three local caterers for the evening and delight in their unique creations. The Borough and Overtime Tap House will offer savoury creations while the Sweeterie will offer decadent desserts.

Thanks to our partners and hosts, the City of Camrose and the Camrose Museum Society, we are able to celebrate together at the Camrose and District Centennial Museum. In addition to providing a beautiful backdrop for our liquor vendors the museum buildings are their own attraction and we encourage you to look beyond your glass and take in the sights!
